Nice work. Your video are informative.

the product is NOT good in our experience. Rather brittle, application of 6mm coats with devil floating is not advisable. Product description/technical info is inconsistent, the individual packs contain poor information. To call it suitable for high suction substrates, e.g. aircrete blocks is a joke. Be warned that if dont apply primer (and NOT PVA) in bucket loads, the hardwall will dry and crack in no time.

Hi John, I’ve just watched your video with a view of using this method to renovate a house that I am doing at the moment, I am not a plasterer by trade but I can get away with doing small areas. I was watching your video so I can take on larger walls and ceilings, this system seems very long-winded and time-consuming. Thanks for taking the time to make this video It has been very informative and a real eye-opener that I think my time could be used elsewhere in the renovation and I will get a plasterer in to do the bigger walls and ceilings that I don’t feel that I can do.

My partner and I have just moved into an old 2 bedroom council flat. There's a lot of work needed, the walls are all pock marked, and a lot of the plaster has come away from the brickwork when removing architraves or skirting board. Is Multi finish ok to go straight on top of old render plaster? or should I prep it with PVA mix? Some areas the old paint has chipped off, but left a smooth finish coat underneath, should I build this back up with Multi finish or Easy Fil? the area is about 60cm2 and about 2 -3 mm deep.

No metal beads on the corners is a problem. I know someone who lives in a house built using this technique and the corners have split.

From 10.14 he seems to move to a different room, then adds a coat of easifil 60... is this a third coat or can the rest of the video from thereon be disregarded?

Do you let the first coat dry before applying 2nd coat on hardwall?

what substance makes this particular mud brown? I thought gypsum was just white.

You put a spackle knife and a trowel in the hands of a homeowner it's going to be a mess. This guy makes it look easy for demonstration purposes, he's a professional. If you don't have "the touch" hire a professional who knows what he's doing.

When you levelled the hard wall you filled up to the top of the beads so have nothing to work to with the finish plaster? Did you add more beads?
